Hotel Antik

A district of Antalya Province in the Mediterranean Region of Turkey.
Once you arrive you will already know, you will not want to leave.

Most hotels are located on the Mediterranean, with under ground paths
leading straight into the beach.

Alanya and Antalya are also home to around 10,000 + others who are Europeans.
Many tourists, especially Scandinavians, Germans, Russians, and Dutch, regularly holiday in Alanya during the warmer months.
They are drawn to the area because of the property prices, warm weather, sandy beaches, access to Antalyas historic sites
and the fine Turkish cuisine. Because of its natural strategic position on a small peninsula into the Mediterranean Sea, below the Taurus Mountains, Alanya has been a local stronghold for many Mediterranean-based empires including the Ptolemaic, Seleucid, Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman Empires. Alanya’s greatest political importance came in the Middle Ages with the Seljuk Sultanate of Rûm under the rule of Alaeddin Kayqubad I – from whom the city derives its name. His building campaign resulted in many of the city’s landmarks such as the Kızıl Kule (Red Tower), Tersane (the Shipyard), and Alanya Castle.

Lets eat now….

Many of the hotels offer an array of foods served as buffet style and comes FREE with most hotels.
Other resturants nearby offer Turkish cuisine dishes.
Today we are going to enjoy a delightful mixed plate of Kofte (Grilled Meatballs) and beef Sis Kebab (Shish Kebab)
With an array of grilled tomatoes, and peppers among fresh greens.
Served with fluffy bulgur pilav and onions tossed with parsley and vinaigrette.

After dinner you can go dancing at disco’s or musicians playing local favorites and when I was there, they dedicated american songs
of Freddy Fender, a well known favorite in Turkey.

You can walk miles and miles of open nightly shopping.
You can enjoy the night rides on camels on the beach, or romantic strolls along the beach front.

After wards you can sit outside a turkish coffee/cafe house and enjoy tea or coffee.

I will be going back to Alanya and Antalya soon. I am waiting for a special person to join me.
